Ah-ha I have to create a link! Got it!
Well we are all doing fine here at the McFarlands.
Colton enjoyed having his friend over for his football birthday party. All he wanted to do was play football so I got out of making up games and crafts and all that fun stuff that usually goes along with birthday parties! Eli got home from work and ran the whole show! It was great! All I had to do was heat up pizza, and make cupcakes! So Colton is 9 now and is looking forward to baseball season. He really enjoys building with legos and can follow those directions very quickly. He designed his pinewood derby car and will be racing it next week. Last year he came in 2nd place so his expectations are great!
Brooklynn is really coming along with the piano. They were both playing a lot of Christmas songs in December. That was fun. She would like to play softball this year, so we will try to make that happen.
We went to Sierra Summit on Monday. Eli found this great program where the kids got free rentals and lessons. Brooklynn chose to learn how to ski. She was doing great and having a blast by the end of the day.
Colton learned how to snowboard. He was thinking it would be sooooo easy because he can skateboard and rip stick, but quickly discovered snowboarding is different!! He had a lot of fun but was definately done by closing time!!!
Jaylin slept most of the day in the Bjorn and was happy to get back home and stretch out!! She is 3 months old now. We are trying to get her to laugh, but she's only done once for daddy (the very first laugh he likes to add) and twice for mommy. She always has smiles to share. She loves her daddy singing to her.(which surprises the whole family:)(the other kids would cry when he sang but Jaylin just grins!!) Colton and Brooklynn both love holding her and helping out. They just miss me spending more time with them at bedtime. (Their back rub time has be cut drastically) (bedtime is usually when Jaylin decides to scream)
I just joined Weight Watchers again and am ready to see these pounds just melt away!!! My days are filled with motherly tasks and running the daycare.
Eli will be busy for the next little while. We are re-doing the fireplace (tore out the brick -to replace it with tile), painting the walls and replacing the old yucky carpet with some wood laminate. I cant wait to see the finished project!
Hope all is well with every one.

Glad to hear how everything is progressing in your household. What ever happened with that big test Eli took in October? Have you heard back yet?
Yes , Eli didn't pass, so it's time to study again, this time with no pressure of a baby on the way!!! He'll take it again in April
I am so proud of you finally getting on her Alicia! Now you need to figure out the whole picture deal so all those who aren't here can enjoy your cuties!
